Tubs

Picture
What heaven it is to lie back and luxuriate in your own tub.  To enjoy the warmth and the ease of your muscles relaxing as your worries and stress ebb away.   The tub should be your happy place, possibly the ultimate luxury spot in the whole home and one that is key to the resale value of a home. Nobody questions the benefits of showers but home buyers look for tubs as the physical embodiment of luxury and space.  Which is why investing in a better tub is a smart move since not only are you investing in your own quality time and that of your family (presuming you're generous enough to let someone else use your tub) but also a sound investment in the value of your home.  So talk to us today about how high quality tubs can look just great and say goodbye to stains and mold from tired old tubs of yesterday.

Alcove Tubs

Most bath tubs are so called alcove tubs which means that they are built into a niche with a sidewall that often matches the floor that it reaches down to. So if the floor is tiled then it looks great to extend that to the side wall of the alcove tub.  Alcove tubs are great for space saving and can look beautiful if the floor and side wall are carefully chosen and matched. Talk to us about the amazing range of acrylic tubs in all kinds of colors and how we can match that up with tiling or other materials for the side wall and the flooring.

Freestanding

Freestanding tubs, like claw foot tubs and slipper tubs take up a lot more space than an alcove tub but sometimes that's the whole point.  Freestanding tubs are not boxed in like alcove tubs and need room around them for outmaneuver so they require room but they stand proud and look great. If you want a grand cast iron tub then you'll want to install it as a freestanding tub to make the most of it and show off your tub taste.  Freestanding tubs also require some thought as to the plumbing – does it come out of the nearby wall or is it too entirely freestanding as part of the tub?  Fortunately for you Bathroom Remodel Dayton is on hand to help you decide.

Corner Tubs and Soaking Tubs

If space isn't the issue and your priority is luxury then talk to us about corner tubs and soakers.  Soaking tubs are extra wide for you to really spread out in and relax while corner tubs take up a lot of space relatively but by occupying a whole corner they also make a statement and recruit the wall space for things like toiletry holders, mirrors, and even book holders (nothing is too good for our customers).

Walk Ins and Whirlpool Tubs

We're also experts in specialist tubs including walk in tubs with a door that opens to let you in and seals perfectly behind you as well as whirlpool tubs for that Jacuzzi effect in your own bath.  We'll help you choose the layout and format of your bath and then the special effects to make your tub your very own watery throne.
